1. CATEGORY- 1 GROUP ‘C’ (NTPC ONLY)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (Eastern Railway-02, CLW-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Note: The requirement of 50% marks is not applicable to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen & for the candidate of any category possessing higher qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs.1900/-

2. CATEGORY- 2 ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Eastern Railway-08, CLW-02)
Educational Qualification: 10th pass OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR ITI OR equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs.1800/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Certificates Verificationand Medical Examination

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and EBC) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Eastern Railway, Kolkata, payable at GPO, Kolkata.
