CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST:

1. CLASSES I-V: PRIMARY STAGE
Educational Qualification:

1) 12th pass 50% marks and 02- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
2) 12th pass 45% marks and passed 2 year Diploma NCTE .
3) Graduation pass 50% marks and B.Ed

2. CLASSES VI-VIII: ELEMENTARY STAGE
Qualification:

1) Graduation and passed OR 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
2) Graduation pass 50% marks and B.Ed
3) Graduation 45% marks and B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE .
4) 12th pass 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
5) 12th pass 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 04- year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
6) Graduation 50% marks and 01-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR

Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to
appear in TET/ CTET.

Relaxation: up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Candidate Selection: Written Examination

Examination Fee: Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PWD) only for Paper I or II and Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PWD) for both Paper I & II as Examination Fee.
