Chairman of the Corporation and Labor Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar himself took the initiative to raise the issue of filling the vacancy in the Corporation. Everyone present at the meeting agreed. According to the sources of the corporation, the necessary notice will be issued soon.

According to the sources of the corporation, out of 10,000, about 9,000 will be confirmed for non-medical posts. These posts have been vacant for some time. However, this calculation is until March 31. But the minister wants more vacancies if vacancies are created. Apart from this, the minister has also given the green signal for the recruitment of hundreds of people in various medical posts including doctors in various ESI hospitals. However, due to the cowardly situation, the board members have agreed to arrange online recruitment test. Corporation officials have realized that physical recruitment test is not possible as schools and colleges are closed in all the states of the country till September 30. So the online examination process is now being discussed among the officials of the corporation. Besides, whether the newly formed National Recruitment Board will play any role in this regard is also being studied.

However, there is anger among the board members about the recruitment process of ESI. Especially of labor organizations. The board formed a sub-committee a year ago to formulate a permanent standard operating procedure (SOP) on staff recruitment and management. But the workers' leaders were angry as there was no meeting of that committee. When that issue came up in the board meeting this time, the minister himself was surprised. He then said that the vacancies would not be filled. He proposed to complete the recruitment process in the next three months. Everyone else agreed. Now the final preparation work has started in the corporation.
